Our kitchen is deeply inspired by Mediterranean culture: Turkish, Greek and Lebanese.

From juicy lamb chops and tender chicken skewers to perfectly spiced kebabs, each dish is grilled with precision by our professional chefs. Our fish dishes, fresh from the Mediterranean Sea, are simply but deliciously prepared with lemon, garlic, and olive oil.
Of course, we also offer meatless dishes for our vegetarian guests.

Restaurant Maydanoz Amsterdam is originally a Turkish restaurant. This is reflected in our name, "Maydanoz," which means parsley in Turkish. This herb is very important to us and is used in many of our dishes.
Maydanoz is located in a beautiful part of Amsterdam called De Pijp. This neighborhood, with its lively student atmosphere, has an energetic vibe. We are proud of our location in this lovely part of Amsterdam.
Our open kitchen is the heart of our restaurant. One of the first things you will notice is the delightful aroma of fresh herbs and ingredients as soon as you step inside. Our interior is heavily influenced by various Mediterranean cultures, giving you the feeling of a holiday on the Mediterranean Sea.
