At Maydanoz, the focus is on authentic Turkish food. Our Turkish restaurant in Amsterdam offers something for everyone. Turkish cuisine is in our heart and soul. We bring the best of Turkey right here in the heart of De Pijp, Amsterdam. We do this by paying tribute to Turkish culture, hospitality, and of course, the delicious Turkish dishes.
The signature dishes on our menu are our Mezes. These small, flavorful dishes are often served as appetizers but are also perfect for sharing with your group. From classic hummus and babaganoush to fresh tabbouleh and grilled calamari, each mezze offers a unique taste experience that reflects the rich culinary traditions of Turkey.
In addition to our mezes, our menu also offers main courses. All our main dishes are prepared on the charcoal grill for that authentic flavor. Along with a wide selection of meat dishes, we also have vegetarian and vegan options.
We are not only influenced by Turkish cuisine but also by other Mediterranean countries like Greece and Lebanon.
The name 'Maydanoz' is Turkish and means parsley. In our kitchen, we use parsley in almost all of our dishes. Additionally, we always work with fresh, seasonal ingredients. All our dishes are prepared on our charcoal grill in our open kitchen.
